A mutual equilibrium is established in the long-term symbiosis of humans and plants, allowing both species to thrive through their interdependence. Personally, cultivating houseplants and considering the relationships with my pet plants that perished due to a lack of human care highlight the fragility of this bond. Furthermore, human control and manipulation characterize the power dynamic between humans and plants. 'Transmutation' challenges conventional thinking through a vision of a world where plants are more significant and self-sufficient than humans. Plants have the potential to survive autonomously in this illusory scenario, whereas artificial structures and architectural components can sustain in the presence of nature. 'Transmutation' promotes critical thinking about the current paradigm and the exploration of a fictitious future in which plants metamorphose into self-sufficient entities capable of thriving and evolving.
