My fond memories of childhood zoo visits evolved into a concern as I matured, recognizing the cramped and artificial enclosures that continue to confine numerous animals. This provided me a thorough understanding of the complex issue of zoo enclosures, which negatively impacts captive animals' physical, mental, and behavioral well-being, frequently due to insufficient conservation management. Inspired to address this, "Free My Zoo" is tailored for children by blending zoo maps and organic elements to visualize enclosures' multifaceted impact in the packaged medium of an animal plush toy. The packaging represents both captivity and freedom; the front cover shows a map of a zoo as a route to freedom, whereas the plush toy is constricted within the box. In addition, users can assist animal characters within the project's interactive game application. The artwork aims to enhance children's understanding of the social issue of zoo enclosures and captivity through aesthetically engaging design features that embrace the educational message.
